Vodacom Tanzania’s Head of Corporate Affairs & Public Relations, Rosalynn Mworia, said that the company was optimistic of reaching to more customers through such facilities.
“The opening of this centre is informed by the commitment to take our products and services where our customers are. We believe in making telecommunication services accessible to all Tanzanians wherever they are and make their life better. The expansion of our retail footprint is a major component of ongoing initiatives to improve customer experience on our network,” said Mworia.
Mworia said with Vodacom’s growing stable of services, there was need for more Vodacom Shops to address customer inquiries and other issues touching on the firm’s products and services one of them being ‘Kilimo Klabu’, which is meant to empower famers.
“This unit offers our customers a one-stop shop to purchase voice and data solutions in a spacious and exciting manner and at a convenient location. This will save on time spent going to distant locations for the same services and in the long run save on costs,” added Mworia.
Bagamoyo DC Mohamed Kipozi, who was chief guest, hailed Vodacom for opening modern shop and said this will save on time spending going to distant location for the Vodacom services and in the long run save on costs.
