IT tech wins trip to Nigeria in Hennessy Artistry’s grand draw

l to the Hennessy Artistry Africa grand finale where international super stars Wizkid and 2Face will be in attendance.

Director of QWAY International, Niloofer Hirjee presented him with the dummy award certificate late last week at the roundup event of the six week Hennessy Artistry extravaganza held at the cozy News Cafe in Masaki Dar es Salaam.

The contestant will be going to attend the final Hennessy Artistry concert in Nigeria with famous artists WizKid and 2Face. It will be on December 6 and he will be going there for a weekend.

The just ended Hennessy Artistry, a global platform to promote excellence in music and culture has for the last six Fridays, enchanted the bustling port city of Dar es Salaam.

Headed by the African music powerhouse Nigeria, Hennessy Artistry two month extravaganza spotted various concerts and events to promote local artist talent with focus on Nigeria’s upcoming and renowned stars.

To support the global campaign in Tanzania, Qway International, the exclusive agent, importer and distributor for the Moët-Hennessy brand portfolio in East Africa, hosted the series of 6 Artistry mini-parties, dubbed Hennessy Fridays.

The Hennessy Fridays were held over 6 Fridays, in 6 venues across urban Dar es Salaam, and showcased 6 iconic Hennessy cocktails.

Guests had the opportunity to experience Hennessy’s mixed drinks based on 5 basic flavours that mix perfectly with Hennessy Cognac: Berry, Citrus, Ginger, Apple and Soda.
The events were heightened with music mix from famed Tanzanian DJ Collective #WEOUTCHEA, who seamlessly mixed various genres of music together in the spirit of The Art of Blending.

Alongside them, was a live performance by special guest act, Tanzanian born musician, composer, songwriter and singer Africatrina (Catheryn Thomas Massamu) who added her unique blend of house remixed jazz and blues music to the Artistry mix.
