Two out of three players who were suspended by Simba for poor performing in the Mainland Premier League are likely to be expelled from the club.

Club sources affirmed yesterday that veteran midfielder Amri Kiemba and all-rounder Haruna Chanongo would be given a bye at the Msimbazi Street side.

The sources said that striker cum-playmaker Shaban Kisiga will be reinstated in the squad after the team’s executive committee was satisfied with his defence.

The trio was given indefinite suspension because of poor performances and ill-discipline.

Kiemba and Chanongo were accused of playing below average when the team met Tanzania Prisons in the Mainland Premier League while Kisiga was said to have verbally abused club officials prior to the match that ended in a one-all draw.

This was the fifth draw for Simba before they romped into the sixth draw against Mtibwa Sugar.

After the suspension of the three Simba won their seventh match to reach nine points and are currently placed seventh in the 14 team league.
Kiemba was also accused of sabotaging the club as he was playing well when it comes to the national side, Taifa Stars.
