TFF picks 23 refs for FIFA seminar

 About 23 referees from the First Division League including those having FIFA badges have being selected to participate in a FIFA seminar starting tomorrow, to polish referring and enable a more positive image of Tanzania soccer.
 
Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) competition director Boniface Wambura said yesterday that the selected referees will undergo physical fitness tests. They are supposed to arrive today at federation hostels located at the Karume Memorial Stadium.
 
The trainers at the seminar are Riziki Majala and Soud Abdi who are recognized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
 
 Selected referees are Ahmed Juma Simba (Kagera), Arnold Bugado (Singida), Charles Peter Simon (Dodoma), Dalila Jafari Mtwana (Zanzibar), Ferdinand Chacha Baringenge (Mwanza), Florentina Zablon (Dodoma) and Frank John Komba (Coast). 
 
Others are Grace Wamara (Kagera), Hellen Joseph Mduma (Dar es Salaam), Israel Mujuni Nkongo (Dar es Salaam), Issa Bilali Ali (Zanzibar), Issa Haji Vuai (Zanzibar), John Longido Kanyenye (Mbeya), Jonesia Rukyaa Kabakama (Kagera) and Josephat Deu Bulali (Tanga).
 
 Others are Kudra Omary (Tanga), Martin Eliphas Saanya (Morogoro), Mary Kapinga (Ruvuma), Mfaume Ali Nassoro (Zanzibar), Mgaza Ali Kinduli (Zanzibar), Samwel Hudson Mpenzu (Arusha), Soud Iddi Lila (Dar es Salaam) and Waziri Sheha Waziri (Zanzibar).
 
“We need them to use the opportunity positively that the training will have a positive impact in our soccer and make sure that rules are observed in our football,” the TFF director noted.
